Specimen molds

Tensile Test Mold - ISO 527-2 Type 1A

Mechanical tensile tests

This is a standard specimen with a narrow central section, adapted for classic stress tests.

Closing can be done with screws or the 4-column hydraulic clamping system.

Tensile Test Mold - ISO 527-2 Type 1B

Mechanical tensile tests 

A shorter specimen, used for parts or molds with limited dimensions.

Closing must be done with a vice (included in the HoliPress 16+ and HoliPress 38 packs).

Rectangular Specimen Mold - ISO 178

Flexural and impact tests

This aluminum mold produces straight bars with a constant cross-section.

Closing can be done with screws or the 4-column hydraulic clamping system.

Rheology Specimen Mold

Material flow tests

This mold generates a compact specimen, ideal for characterizing polymer flow behavior and validating material processability on restricted volumes.

Closing must be done with a vice (included in the HoliPress 16+ and HoliPress 38 packs), but is also possible with the 2-column hydraulic clamping system.

This mold injects a part featuring different thickness levels, making it the perfect tool for testing material fluidity and anticipating plastic behavior on very thin or massive walls.

Closing can be done with screws or the 2 or 4-column hydraulic clamping system.
